We are proud to announce that Nathan Baumli joined our team as algorithm developer. He just finished his MSc ETH in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics, Systems and Control) and he has a lot of experience with the Silicon Eye technology. He did two projects (including his Master thesis) in the group of Prof. Davide Scaramuzza which focused on the algorithm development for the Silicon Eye technology (DVS/DAVIS). One of these projects resulted in a publication and another should soon follow.
At Insightness he will focus on the development of algorithms for high-speed visual odometry and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) for our visual positioning system (VPS).
